Gilt Bijouterie Cabinet

A stunning mid 19th century gilt wood vitrine or table top display cabinet. Of oval shape with curved glass panels, curved glass doors and a mirror back. The cabinet retains the original gilding with a lovely worn country house appearance. Of exceptional quality the twin opening doors are made of one single piece of curved glass. The interior is lined with velvet and has brackets to hold a single interior shelf mid way. Complete with a later glass shelf.
