An unusual photograph frame made from the wood of a WW2 aircraft propellor. The top of the frame mounted with a gilt and painted wooden pediment for the AVRO Aircraft Company surmounted by RAF wings and the Kings Crown. Believed to have been made at the company works of A.V. Roe & Co Manchester by the joiners shop for members of the board and as corporate gifts with the off cuts of wood from the propellor making process. Complete with replacement glass and frame back with easel mount.
