Painted Overmantel Mirror

A beautiful 19th century painted overmantel mirror. The frame, originally gilt has been later painted in a wonderful French grey colour, the original plate has a stunning colour and patina. Overall the frame is in good condition with minor losses and the original gilding coming through the paint in areas giving it a fabulous look.
