Pair of Falkirk 'Royal Park' Benches

A beautiful pair of original Falkirk 'Royal' or 'Royal Parks' garden benches. The bench features cast end terminals with over scroll ends & supports & pierced with scrolling foliage, hung with tassels. Named the Royal as they were used extensively in various Royal Parks and examples can still be be seen in London's Kensington Gardens. First displayed in their catalogue of circa 1875-80 under the heading ‘Seats, Royal Park pattern
