Gothic Faux Bamboo Side Chair

A beautiful early 19th century side chair in the original paint. An unusual design with the back comprising of gothic arches and the legs and frame in simulated bamboo, most probably an amalgamation of the two fashionable styles in the early 19th century. Retaining the original paint and decoration together with the original rush seat. With a lovely country house colour and patina.
