Buff Terracotta Lions
A stunning pair of buff terracotta Canova Lions. Extremely well modelled in fantastic detail. The lions have a few very small scuffs and knocks to the mane. They are unsigned, similar examples can be found by both Coade and Blashfield. They have had a coat of varnish to the underside at some point in the 20th century.
